Job summary

Hitachi ABB Power Grids is seeking a Valve cooling and Auxiliary System Commissioning Engineer to join their global auxiliary commissioning team. This role requires extensive travel worldwide, and you will be responsible for the commissioning of HVDC valve cooling systems, working closely with various departments and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Driving license and ability to learn to operate lifts.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of HVDC valve cooling systems including inspections and tests.
• Work and coordinate with different HVDC departments and suppliers.
• Travel extensively, up to 80% of time on-site.
