Formación

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering or engineering physics is required.
• Theoretical understanding of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics is essential; CFD or thermal analysis experience is a plus.
• Experience with new product development, flow simulations, thermal cycle calculations or cooling system control is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Develop new cooling technologies and improve existing ones for HVDC converter valves and their cooling system.
• Conduct research, testing, and validation of cooling systems using advanced modelling and simulation tools.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to integrate cooling systems into designs.
• Evaluate and select materials, components, and suppliers based on technical requirements, cost, and reliability.
• Engage in new product development projects focusing on valve cooling design tasks and DFMEA to prevent issues.
• Prepare 3D CAD models, drawings and BOM.
