Job summary

Salesforce is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions directly inside customer environments. You will partner with a Deployment Strategist to co-create live deployments, from single strategic accounts to multiple engagements, focusing on real code, real environments, and measurable business impact.

You should have hands-on experience with AI stacks, and be prepared to travel ~25% to work directly with customers.

Qualifications

3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, incl. production systems.
Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience is required.
Fluent in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
Experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
Strong data modeling, APIs and integration pattern understanding.

Responsibilities

Develop agentic AI solutions and ship real customer outcomes in enterprise environments.
Design prompts, reasoning chains, and integrate with customer systems.
Own components end-to-end from architecture to production.
Build data pipelines and dashboards for monitoring deployments.
Collaborate with customers and partners to share best practices.
