Job summary

Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support plasma processing systems across Sweden. The role involves on-site installation, maintenance, and upgrades, with a focus on maximizing uptime and performance for customers in Sweden and the Nordic region.

You will travel to customer sites, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver detailed service reports. Swedish and English fluency, a driving licence, and a proactive mindset are essential for success

Qualifications

  • A qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering (HNC or higher).
  • Proven field service experience.
  • Experience in semiconductor or high-tech industries (desirable).
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English.
  • A full driving licence.
  • A proactive, independent mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • The flexibility to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our Plasma Technology division is growing, and we’re looking for a Customer Support Engineer to join our team in Sweden. In this dynamic, field‑based role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring our advanced systems perform flawlessly at customer sites across Sweden—and occasionally across the Nordic region. If you enjoy problem‑solving, traveling, and working with world‑class technology, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For
