Future Electronics in Stockholm is seeking a Generalist Field Applications Engineer to join our Advanced Engineering team. You will gain hands-on exposure to leading semiconductor manufacturers and work with OEMs across multiple market segments.

The role starts with intensive training and mentorship from senior engineers; you will provide Applications and Design Solutions, build strong technical relationships, and help engineers bring projects to market.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Swedish.
• Degree in Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum of five years design experience in the field or with an electronics company.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proactive and results-driven approach.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Passionate about helping other engineers bring successful projects to market.

Responsibilities

• Provide Applications and Design Solutions to customers using knowledge from education and industry training.

As a Field Application Engineer (FAE) we will expose and train you on the portfolio of the world's top semiconductor manufacturers that offer cutting edge technology solutions. You will work with and recommend engineering solutions to original equipment manufacturers across your market segments including automotive, industrial, military, commercial, medical, solid-state lighting and many others.

The prime responsibility of a Generalist Field Applications Engineer (gFAE) is to provide Applications and Design Solutions to the Company’s customer base, utilising previous design and product knowledge gained through education, experience as well as training seminars held by the Manufacturers for which the Company is franchised.
