Job summary

Toyota Material Handling Europe is strengthening its European R&D finance function and seeks a Financial Control Manager to join the Shared Service Centre in Mjölby. You will partner with senior leaders across R&D and Finance to understand performance, enable informed decisions and drive governance.

You will lead planning, reporting, analysis and control of development costs and investments in a complex, international environment, with exposure across Sweden, France, Italy and beyond;

Qualifications

• Experience in business controlling, financial controlling and FP&A.
• Ability to translate financial information into actionable insights.
• Proactive, structured, and able to influence across borders.

Responsibilities

• Act as finance business partner to key stakeholders in European R&D.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance and provide recommendations.
• Support business cases, financial evaluations and ad hoc analyses.
• Develop reporting, KPIs and management information for transparency.
• Ensure sound financial control of development costs and investments.
• Identify risks and opportunities and support corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Finance and stakeholders across multiple locations.
• Contribute to development of financial processes and tools.
