Job summary

Nouryon AB is seeking a Technical Sales & Business Development Manager for Paper & Board to drive the technical and commercial advancement across Europe. You will own key CMC applications, build strong customer partnerships, and position Nouryon as a preferred solutions provider in tissue and barrier coatings.

In this role you will audit accounts, develop strategic plans with Account Managers, and lead cross‑functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to deliver growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Paper Engineering, Chemistry, Process Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Extensive experience in the paper and board industries with technical or application focus.
• Proven track record in technical sales or technical service with direct customer interaction.
• Experience planning and executing laboratory and mill trials and translating results into value.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical audits and diagnostics at Nordic key accounts to identify opportunities in CMC, surfactants and chelates.
• Support the Account Manager to develop and manage strategic key account plans and multi-level engagement.
• Maintain regular technical touchpoints with R&D and distributor teams to align roadmaps.
• Provide second-line technical support and training for the EU distribution network and assist with joint customer visits.
• Manage sales KPIs such as volume, margin, price development and project pipeline value.
