Job summary

Volvo Cars is seeking a Communications Strategist to join the Leader and Employee Communication team. You will develop engaging content and execute multi-channel plans that align with our policies and strategic direction, helping leaders communicate clearly and employees stay informed.

You will collaborate across the organisation, build relationships with internal stakeholders, and shape news flows to foster employee engagement and brand ambassadors in a fast-paced, international setting.

Qualifications

• BA / BSc in communication, journalism or equivalent experience.
• Strategic and creative approach to planning.
• Experience across different channels and formats.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Shape the news and information flow within Volvo Cars, driving employee engagement and alignment.
• Develop multi-channel communication strategies around news-based stories.
• Develop thought-leadership positions that strengthen employee engagement and brand.
• Drive development and consistent implementation of stories across channels globally.
• Collaborate with business area teams to identify news-based stories.
• Co-create the editorial calendar across channels.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provide high-level guidance.
• Contribute to developing employee communication capabilities by adopting trends and best practices.
