GSM - Green SM in Sweden is seeking a Driver Recruitment Specialist to lead high-volume sourcing, screening, and onboarding of qualified drivers. You will work with Operations, Fleet, and HR to ensure compliance, safety, and a smooth hiring process while building a robust driver pipeline for ongoing demand.

The role involves field recruitment, interviews, and coordination of road tests and training sessions to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in high volume recruitment; driver/blue-collar hiring is an advantage.
• Fluent in Swedish and English; strong interviewing and assessment skills.
• Knowledge of government requirements and safety regulations for drivers.

Responsabilités

• Source, attract, and recruit qualified drivers through multiple channels.
• Conduct initial screening, interviews, and document verification.
• Ensure compliance with government requirements and safety standards.
• Coordinate road tests, training, and orientation for new drivers.
• Maintain recruitment reports, applicant databases, and hiring metrics.
• Collaborate with Operations and Fleet on manpower needs and deployment.
• Manage end-to-end onboarding: contracts, briefing, deployment.
• Build and maintain a strong driver pipeline for volume hiring.
• Attend job fairs and events to promote sourcing channels.

About the job

The Driver Recruitment Specialist is responsible for high-volume, end-to-end sourcing, and onboarding qualified drivers to meet the companys operational needs. This role ensures all driver applicants meet company standards, legal requirements, and safety compliance. The specialist will work closely with Operations, Fleet, and HR teams to ensure a smooth hiring process and maintain a strong pipeline of applicants.

• Source, attract, and recruit qualified drivers through various channels (online job portals, social media, referrals, field recruitment, etc) on a high volume
• Conduct initial screening, interviews, and document verification (licenses, IDs, permits, clearances)
• Ensure compliance with government requirements
• Coordinate and schedule road tests, training sessions, and orientation for new drivers
• Maintain recruitment reports, applicant databases, and hiring metrics
• Collaborate with Operations and Fleet teams on manpower needs and deployment schedules
• Conduct background checks and evaluate driving history and experience
• Manage end-to-end onboarding process, including contract preparation, final briefing, and deployment
• Build and maintain a strong driver pipeline to support volume-hiring requirements
• Attend job fairs, field activities, and community events to promote the company and expand sourcing channels

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field (preferred but not required)
• Experience in high volume recruitment; previous experience in driver or blue-collar hiring is an advantage
• Knowledge of driver roles such as TNVS, truck drivers, delivery riders, fleet drivers, etc
• Familiarity with government requirements and safety regulations for drivers
• Strong interviewing, communication, and assessment skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet hiring targets
• Proficient in MS Office and recruitment platforms
• Willing to travel or conduct field recruitment when needed
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask and manage high-volume hiring
• Results-driven and proactive approach
