Job summary

Saab AB seeks a Head of Group Function IT Transformation Office to steer Saab's IT transformation. You will unify people, translate strategy into actionable plans, and collaborate with business, technology and security teams to deliver lasting value.

You will lead a cross‑functional team, drive AI and automation adoption, oversee delivery against KPIs, and manage vendors and portfolios across a global organisation. The role requires strong leadership and fluency in Swedish and English.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven leadership of teams and capabilities in complex IT environments.
• Experience driving business transformation, strategic planning or commercial improvement initiatives.
• Strong delivery focus with expertise in project delivery, business analysis, architecture and QA.
• Experience applying AI, automation or modern ways of working to improve delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive engagement.
• Experience from large, global organisations; defence industry experience is a plus.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and engage employees within the area, building strong specialist capabilities and cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead the development and execution of Group Function IT’s strategy, transformation agenda and strategic planning.
• Lead project management and architecture capabilities to ensure coordinated delivery and alignment with business and technology priorities.
• Strengthen vendor, performance and portfolio management using KPIs to drive accountability and value realization.
• Lead adoption of AI and automation to improve efficiency, accelerate transformation and enhance business value.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors and partners.
