Job summary

Saab AB in Sweden seeks a strategic Head of IT Area Commercial & Business Development to lead and shape Saab's IT services for Commercial & Business Development. You will guide a Digital Solutions team delivering automation, data and AI across Group Functions, balancing delivery with modernisation and cost efficiency.

You will work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into prioritized improvements, ensure security and compliance, and drive cloud and automation initiatives across

Qualifications

• Academic degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience leading application management and development in large IT environments.
• Strong understanding of service lifecycle management and continuous improvement.
• Experience developing service roadmaps and prioritising business needs.
• Experience managing IT vendors and costs.
• Understanding of information security and compliance in application management.
• Experience transforming complex organisations and technology landscapes.
• Experience from defence industry is an advantage.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the IT Area Commercial & Business Development within Saab IT.
• Drive reliable, secure and cost-efficient application management and service delivery.
• Define and drive service roadmaps and lifecycle plans with business stakeholders.
• Lead the Digital Solutions team delivering automation, data and AI solutions across Group Functions.
• Translate business needs into prioritised improvements and development initiatives.
• Ensure information security and compliance requirements are addressed throughout the lifecycle.
• Drive modernisation with cloud, AI and automation.
• Manage service performance, costs and vendor delivery against commitments.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors and partners to enhance governance and value.
