Job summary

Telia is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, operate, and grow robust cloud environments for critical B2B IT services. You will contribute to a high-performing SRE and DevOps team, driving automation and reliability across multiple platforms.

You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and product owners to deliver scalable, secure infrastructure and modern CI/CD pipelines, enabling observability and rapid iteration.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficient with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
• Scripting experience in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Hands-on with containers and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Podman).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, tracing, and incident management.

I'm Robert Lemming, Head of ACE Devops and Infra team, and I'm searching for a DevOps Engineer ready to grow with us. What You'll Do

• Develop and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms and vendors
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern automation tools such as GitHub Actions
• Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions and drive automation across platform operations
• Develop solutions that improve reliability, efficiency, and operational excellence
• Enable observability through monitoring, alerting, logging, tracing, and dashboarding capabilities
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and product owners across geographically distributed teams

You are a collaborative problem-solver who enjoys automating, improving reliability, and working with modern cloud technologies.

What Will Help You Thrive In This Role

• Proven experience with Linux, networking, and cloud infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi
• Experience with automation and scripting using Python, Go, or Bash
• Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration platforms, including Kubernetes and Podman
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, tracing, and incident management practices
• Familiarity with GitHub, GitOps, ArgoCD, cloud-native architectures, and platform engineering approaches is a plus
• Ability to document technical solutions clearly and communicate fluently in English
