Job summary

Tata Technologies in Sweden seeks a Design Engineering Aerodynamics to advance our automotive projects. You will lead wind tunnel testing and CFD simulations to optimize exterior design and energy efficiency.

Collaborating across engineering and Product Design, you will present findings, validate aerodynamic performance, and contribute to group development. Fluency in English and a MSc in Engineering are required.

Qualifications

• University degree, at least MSc in Engineering.
• Strong fluid dynamics expertise.
• Experience with CFD (STAR) and CAD geometry (CATIA/ANSA).
• Excellent communication; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and perform aerodynamic wind tunnel tests and CFD simulations.
• Analyze data and provide recommendations and presentations.
• Represent the aerodynamic attribute in forums and systems.
• Contribute to group tasks and development of the group.

Job description

The Role

Aerodynamics, our purpose is to lead and guide the costumer in Aerodynamics by integrating and optimizing the Aerodynamic capabilities of our future cars. We work closely together with other engineering departments and Product Design to develop the vehicle exterior as well as components and for energy efficiency and to achieve stable driving dynamics

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and perform Aerodynamic wind tunnel test assignments and CFD simulations.
• Conduct analysis and create recommendations and presentations.
• Represent and present the attribute in various foras and systems
• Active contribution to group common tasks and development of the group

Experience / Background

• University degree, at least M.Sc. or equivalent in Engineering
• High skills in fluid dynamics and a proven record of experience from that field.
• Skills in CFD (e.g. STAR) and CAD geometry work (e.g. CATIA/ANSA)
• High level of communication skills, e.g. presentations etc.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Experience from testing and the automotive industry is meritorious
