Job summary

Saab AB is seeking a senior leader to serve as Deputy Head of Modern Infrastructure and Head of the Transformation Office. The role shapes the unit's direction, translates strategy into prioritised initiatives and coordinates across Area Managers to drive progress in transformation, cloud adoption, automation and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Strong people leadership, talent development and senior stakeholder management capabilities
• Strong understanding of modern infrastructure services, cloud technologies and IT operations in large organisations, including AI and automation opportunities
• Experience leading a transformation office or cross-functional change in large, global IT organisations
• Experience translating strategy into prioritised roadmaps and measurable changes
• Experience in vendor management and performance follow-up
• Experience from the defence industry is an advantage
• Fluency in Swedish and English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Lead the Transformation Office team and build capabilities for future business and technology demands
• Support Head of Unit in setting direction, prioritising initiatives and driving execution
• Lead the unit's transformation portfolio with roadmaps and dependencies
• Oversee vendor management across the unit and align commitments with priorities
• Own and forecast Opex and Capex and ensure cost transparency and financial accountability
• Establish unit-wide performance measures and drive service improvements
• Collaborate across areas to enable common infrastructure capabilities and decentralised delivery
• Travel as needed to meet teams and stakeholders
