About the role

As Demand Planning Manager, you will ensure that parts and accessories are available to support our products throughout their lifecycle. This is a key role where you will lead and develop our global demand planning – an area that is central to how we drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction. You will report to the Manager of Demand Planning, Global Operations.

Responsibilities
  • Shape a global demand planning capability in a growing aftermarket business, directly impacting customer experience and commercial performance.
  • Strengthen and align demand planning ways of working across the global organization, helping stakeholders navigate change as processes, tools, and forecasting capabilities evolve.
  • Lead planning across a 24‑month rolling horizon, ensuring high forecast accuracy and actively managing bias.
  • Continuously and strategically improve system‑driven forecasting models, strengthen data use, and proactively identify deviations to drive action based on trends and insights.
  • Define and monitor key KPIs, using insights to support decision‑making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Translate demand patterns into clear business recommendations and lead initiatives to enhance forecasting methods, tools, and processes globally.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a growing team of six demand planners, building strong capabilities in forecasting, analytics, and stakeholder collaboration.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or equivalent.
  • Experience within demand planning, forecasting and supply chain planning.
  • Experience driving transformation initiatives and working in cross‑functional, international environments with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead people and develop teams.
  • Strong analytical capability and confidence working with data and KPIs.
  • Experience with advanced planning systems and solid Excel skills.
  • Experience from aftermarket, spare parts, or complex product structures is a strong advantage.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of Swedish is considered an advantage.

This position will be based in Huskvarna, Sweden.
