Job summary

Jobtailor in Sweden is seeking a Demand Planning Lead to oversee global planning, drive forecast accuracy, and align processes across the organization. You will lead a team of six planners and champion data-driven decision making.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, experience with advanced planning systems, and fluency in English; Swedish language skills are a plus. This on-site position focuses on transforming planning capabilities across borders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or equivalent.
• Experience within demand planning, forecasting and supply chain planning.
• Experience driving transformation initiatives and cross-functional/international stakeholder work.
• Proven ability to lead people and develop teams.
• Strong analytical capability with data and KPI focus.
• Excel skills and familiarity with advanced planning systems.
• Experience from aftermarket/spare parts or complex product structures is advantageous.
• Fluency in English; Swedish knowledge is a plus.

• Ensure parts and accessories are available to support products throughout lifecycle
• Lead and develop global demand planning capability
• Strengthening and aligning demand planning across organization
• Drive planning across a 24-month rolling horizon ensuring high forecast accuracy
• Continuously improve system-driven forecasting models and strengthen data work
• Define and monitor key KPIs and use insights for decision‑making
• Translate demand patterns into business recommendations
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of six demand planners

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or equivalent
• Experience within demand planning, forecasting and supply chain planning
• Experience driving transformation initiatives as well as working in cross-functional and international environments handling different stakeholders
• Proven ability to lead people and develop teams
• Strong analytical capability and confidence working with data and KPIs
• Experience with advanced planning systems and solid Excel skills
• Experience from aftermarket, spare parts, or complex product structures is a strong advantage.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge in Swedish is considered an advantage.
