Job description

Are you passionate about turning data into accurate forecasts that drive smarter business decisions? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your analytical mindset contributes directly to operational success and customer satisfaction? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What you’ll do at Thule

As Demand Planner, you will play an important role in ensuring that our products are available in the right quantities, at the right time, and in the right location. You will take lead on balancing availability and lean inventories through demand forecasting and effective inventory management. Together with production and purchasing, the demand planner is a key figure in driving efficiency across Thule’s global supply chain.

In this role, you’ll work closely with colleagues in Sales, Product Management, and Supply Planning to gather input, align priorities and expectations, and to drive appropriate actions. You will contribute to the planning process through maintaining accurate forecasts in our ERP system, monitoring and actioning inventory optimization, as well as regular meetings and discussions where your category expertise and insight support good decision making. Your work will be focused on multiple product categories, with demand planning ownership of Thule’s biggest revenue driver - Bike Carriers, and our Winter and Water assortment.

Alongside the operational work, the team is also involved in ongoing improvement projects - aiming to optimize process flow, increase forecast accuracy, and enhance the quality of analysis. You’ll be part of a team that continuously works to develop smarter and more effective ways of planning and operating.

Your efforts will have a direct and meaningful impact on product availability, inventory performance, and operational efficiency.

What you bring

To be successful in this role, we believe you have a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, combined with experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain coordination. You bring strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and good business understanding. You’re confident working with large data sets and know how to translate complex numbers into clear insights and structured actions.

You have solid skills in Excel and experience working with ERP systems, where familiarity with Infor M3 is seen as an advantage. You enjoy working collaboratively and have a natural ability to communicate with stakeholders across various functions. Fluency in English is required, while Swedish is considered a plus.

It is considered an advantage if you have previous experience in a demand planning role. Experience in project management or involvement in cross-functional improvement initiatives is also beneficial and valued in this position.
