Job summary

Findus Sverige in Malmö is seeking a Demand Planning professional to join Nordic Supply Chain, managing demand forecasts for Retail Denmark and Foodservice Sweden/Denmark, and leading a team including a direct report.

You will collaborate with Sales, Finance and Marketing, drive S&OP, and contribute to KPI improvements.

Qualifications

• M.Sc in Statistics/Math, Engineering, Business or related field within supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of modern planning tools.
• Excellent Excel skills; PowerBI/PowerQuery advantageous.
• Experience with SAP tools is a plus.
• Experience in similar roles is required.
• Management experience is an advantage.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.
• Detail-oriented and persistent.

Responsibilities

• Forecast demand based on historical data and business input for Retail (Denmark) and Foodservice (Sweden/Denmark).
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance and Marketing for inputs.
• Manage stakeholders internal and external.
• Propose and implement solutions to improve SC KPIs (Forecast Accuracy, Bias, Service level).
• Align with all departments and drive the S&OP agenda.
• Lead a demand planner located in Malmö.
• Coordinate with Central Supply Chain Team in the UK for KPI tracking.

About The Job

The Nordic Planning team is based in Lysaker and Malmö and together with Customer service team it is part of Nordic Supply Chain. The next talent for our Nordic team will be based in Malmö.

From these two offices, Supply chain team is responsible for all activities within demand and supply planning, inventory controlling, transport, logistics, customs, master data and customer service.

The team plays a key role in our S&OP process and is actively engaged with all our suppliers in securing service and securing the right stock at the right place and at the right time.

The team plans and manage a portfolio of 700 SKU for 4 Nordic countries and 4 sales channels: Retail, Food Service, Industry and Export.

We are now looking for a new team member in Demand planning part of the team who is eager to further develop both - the team and the function.

Key Responsibilities

• Demand forecasts based on self-review of historical sales data in combination with business input for Retail channel in Denmark and Foodservice channels in Sweden and Denmark
• Build close collaboration for getting the relevant inputs from Sales, Finance and Marketing
• Stakeholder management, both internal and external
• Propose and implement solutions to improve SC KPIs: Forecast Accuracy, BIAS and Service level
• Have a strong cooperation and alignment with all departments, improve and drive the S&OP agenda as an important part of SC end-to-end process
• Be strong and inspiring leader with one direct report (Demand Planner) located in Malmö
• Performance management and KPI-tracking in close collaboration with Central Supply Chain Team in UK

• M.Sc in Statistics/Math, Engineering, Business or other relevant academic degree within supply chain
• Strong knowledge in modern planning tools
• Very strong knowledge in Excel (PowerBI and PowerQuery is an advantage)
• Experience with SAP tools is considered an asset but not mandatory
• Experience in similar roles is a must
• Manager’s experience is a an advantage
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Persistent and thorough

About the position & application

This is a fixed-term position of approximately 2.5 years, covering a study leave for the current Demand Planning Manager. For the right candidate, there is a strong possibility of transitioning into a permanent position within the organization
