Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Solution Consultant to support opportunities of medium to high technical and commercial complexity in the data center sector. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating customer needs into credible, high-level solution concepts aligned with validated architectures and portfolio across power, cooling, digital systems, and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred).
• 3+ years in data center industry including power, cooling, and installations.
• Experience in customer-facing or pre-sales roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with UPS, low- and medium-voltage equipment, and data center cooling systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer drivers and shape solution concepts for data center portfolio.
• Position differentiated, value-based solutions with cross-domain offerings.
• Review RFQs with Solution Architects to identify constraints and deviations.
• Translate customer requirements into feasible high-level solution options.
• Explain benefits like resilience, energy efficiency, and speed-to-market to customers.
• Coordinate with Sales, Solution Architects, BUs to ensure coherence during tendering.
• Support meetings, workshops, and presentations as solution expert.
• Stay informed on tech trends and data center market developments.
• Promote collaboration among stakeholders in opportunities.
