Job summary

Schneider Electric is hiring a Data Center System Design Engineer to design and deliver robust data center infrastructure solutions across the Nordic region. You will shape electrical distribution and cooling system designs, support customer conversations, and ensure successful project delivery.

The role involves cross‑functional collaboration with Sales, Tendering, and regional teams. The ideal candidate holds a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and has hands‑on data center

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Practical experience with data center projects or services, and the design/integration of electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one Nordic language (Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, or Danish).
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Apply expertise in data center infrastructure, focusing on low‑voltage electrical distribution and cooling systems to shape designs and support projects.
• Influence technical decision‑making by communicating with internal stakeholders and customers to guide solutions toward Schneider Electric technologies.
• Provide end‑to‑end technical support during design, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with Sales and Tendering to develop strategies and build accurate cost baselines for proposals.
