About the Assignment

As a Crash Safety Analysis Engineer, you will play a key role in evaluating and improving occupant protection performance in frontal and rear impact scenarios. Working within an advanced safety engineering environment, you will support the development of future vehicle safety solutions through physical testing, detailed analysis, and engineering recommendations.

This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge safety technologies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve demanding safety, regulatory, and performance targets.

Main Responsibilities

As a Crash Safety Analysis Engineer, you will:

• Prepare, coordinate, and lead physical crash tests at component, system, and full vehicle levels.
• Perform detailed occupant protection analyses based on test results.
• Evaluate crash performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Present test results and technical findings to internal stakeholders.
• Provide recommendations to enhance occupant protection and overall safety performance.
• Support safety development activities throughout the product development process.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to achieve project and safety objectives.

Required Qualifications

• M.Sc. degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience performing physical crash tests at component, system, and vehicle level.
• Experience within Occupant Analysis and crash safety development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience within automotive safety engineering.
• Knowledge of automotive product development processes.
• Experience working with occupant protection systems and safety validation methods.
• Familiarity with vehicle crash testing standards and regulatory requirements.
