Qualifications

• Documented experience in interior development at an OEM or supplier.
• Experience with CATIA V5.
• Experience with TeamCenter.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Develop floor system and luggage compartment components for ongoing vehicle development programs.

About the Assignment

As a Design Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for developing complete luggage compartment and floor system solutions for future vehicle programs. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring flexibility, proactive thinking, and close collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines. You will contribute to the design and development of various components while working closely with cross-functional teams, engineering partners, and suppliers. The role focuses on balancing technology, quality, timing, and cost to successfully deliver products and project milestones.

Main Responsibilities

As a Design Engineer, you will:

• Develop floor system and luggage compartment components as part of ongoing vehicle development programs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support product development activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external engineering partners, and suppliers.
• Contribute to achieving project milestones related to quality, timing, technology, and cost.
• Support the delivery of product and project requirements throughout the development process.
• Participate in design reviews and engineering activities to ensure robust and high-quality solutions.

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience within the automotive industry and product development processes.
• Strong understanding of engineering systems and the ability to manage technical complexity.
• Documented experience in interior development at an OEM or supplier.
• Experience with CATIA V5.
• Experience with TeamCenter.
• Knowledge of automotive product development processes.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Driver’s License Category B.
• Additional experience within vehicle interior systems and component development.
• Experience working in global and cross-functional development environments.
