Job summary

Avarda is seeking a Product Leader to own the Core Banking domain, guiding roadmap, backlog, and platform strategy across lending, cards, deposits and payments. You will partner with engineering and vendors to evolve capabilities while ensuring regulatory and operational alignment.

This role focuses on translating complex requirements into precise, testable product criteria and coordinating with operations, finance and risk teams to support growth across markets.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Product Manager or similar in banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of core banking processes and product lifecycle management.
• Experience with platforms for lending, cards, deposits or transactional banking.

Responsibilities

• Own roadmap and backlog for Core Banking domain across platforms.
• Prioritise delivery with IT teams responsible for core systems and integrations.
• Own product logic for customer accounts, configuration, billing cycles and lifecycle events.
• Drive evolution of core banking capabilities across lending, cards, deposits and payments.
• Collaborate with payments teams to ensure seamless integrations with rails and partners.
• Translate requirements into testable product criteria with traceability.
• Partner with vendors for scope, testing and release sign-off.
• Work with operations, finance, compliance, risk and engineering to ensure scalability and regulatory fit.
