Job summary

Avanza Bank is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead one of our most strategic data projects. You will own the customer and account data domain, drive the transition from on‑prem to cloud, and partner with Legal, Security, and Risk to embed GDPR compliance from day one.

You will align cross‑functional teams across engineering and operations to build a scalable, secure data platform that enables product teams to deliver smarter, data‑driven features in the cloud.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Lead for platform or data products.
• Proven experience in building data platforms and/or driving large-scale migrations (on-prem to cloud).
• Deep understanding of data lifecycle management, APIs, and data structures.
• Good understanding of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• A relevant degree within IT, Data, or Computer Science.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer data domain end-to-end and define product strategy for data lifecycle, ingestion, retention, and quality.
• Lead the transition from on-prem to cloud in collaboration with engineering, ensuring safe decommissioning of legacy databases.
