Job description

Construction Manager / Technical Project Manager – Process Industry
Take the lead. Make an impact. Shape the future of industry.

At RCGI, we’re growing rapidly and looking for experienced professionals who want to take the next step in their careers and make a real difference in the industrial sector.

Are you a Construction Manager or Technical Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership, leading teams, and turning complex industrial projects into successful results? Do you have experience in the chemical or process industry and want to contribute to the green transition?

At RCGI, you’ll have the opportunity to combine technical expertise, leadership, and business understanding while working on challenging projects that help shape the industries of tomorrow.

Whether your strengths lie in construction management, technical project management, or a combination of both, we’d love to hear from you.

Your role – From planning to successful delivery

As a Construction Manager or Technical Project Manager at RCGI, you’ll play a key role in delivering complex industrial projects. Depending on your experience and interests, you may lead construction activities on-site, manage projects from initiation to completion, or support and strengthen our clients’ project organisations.

You’ll work closely with clients, contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with agreed objectives.

Your responsibilities may include:
  • Lead and deliver projects: Take ownership of construction activities or entire projects, ensuring successful delivery in terms of safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Build strong project teams: Establish, lead, and develop multidisciplinary teams, whether working within an EPCM organisation or strengthening our clients’ existing teams.
  • Drive planning and execution: Contribute to project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, cost control, risk management, and follow-up.
  • Manage procurement and contracts: Participate in tendering, procurement strategies, technical evaluations, contract negotiations, and the management of complex construction contracts.
  • Create value for our clients: Understand client needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate project objectives into practical and sustainable solutions.
  • Collaborate across disciplines: Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, contractors, and suppliers to keep projects moving forward.
  • Support the green transition: Contribute to industrial projects that improve efficiency, enable new technologies, and support a more sustainable future.

The role can vary depending on your background and ambitions. We value people who want to take responsibility, influence how projects are delivered, and grow alongside our business.

What we offer:
Meaningful projects with a lasting impact

Work on challenging industrial projects across the chemical and process industries, including initiatives that contribute to the green transition.

Room to grow

Develop your leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills through varied assignments and new challenges. We encourage you to take the next step in the direction that best suits your strengths and ambitions.

Who we’re looking for

We’re interested in people who combine solid industrial project experience with a proactive mindset and a genuine interest in creating value.

You may be an experienced Construction Manager, Technical Project Manager, or another professional with a strong background in industrial project execution.

We believe you have:
  • Experience from industrial projects, preferably within the chemical and/or process industry.
  • A background in a relevant engineering discipline, such as process, mechanical, piping, civil/structural, electrical or automation.
  • A solid understanding of project execution, construction management, or both.
  • Experience with procurement and the management of complex construction contracts.
  • An understanding of project planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and follow-up.
  • Knowledge of relevant contract frameworks, such as AB, ABT, LOU, LUF, and/or Orgalime.
  • Experience in technical specifications, construction documentation, or contract administration.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Higher education in a relevant technical or engineering field, which is an advantage.

Experience from the contractor's side is particularly valuable.

You don’t need to tick every box. We’re equally interested in your experience, potential, and motivation to take on new challenges.

At RCGI, we believe that how you work is just as important as what you know.

You enjoy building relationships, bringing people together, and finding solutions to complex challenges.

You’re comfortable taking responsibility, but you also value collaboration and understand that the best results are achieved as a team.

You’re commercially minded, recognise opportunities to create value, and take pride in delivering projects that meet – and ideally exceed – client expectations.

Most importantly, you want to make a difference and be part of a company that is growing and evolving.

If you’re looking for a role where you can combine leadership, technical expertise, and meaningful industrial projects, we’d love to hear from you.
