Strawberryhotels is seeking an ambitious and talented Sushi chef to join our team at At Six Brasserie in Stockholm. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role, ideally with Michelin star experience. As a Sushi chef, you will support the Head and Sous Chef in delivering high-quality food and supervising junior chefs.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head and Sous Chef in a busy kitchen, delivering consistently high‑quality food.
• Handle purchase orders and ensure items arriving without authorization are not received.
• Take care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by superiors to meet the standard and quality set by the Restaurant.
• Coordinate daily tasks with the Sous Chef.
• Supervise junior chefs and interns.
• Ensure the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
• Keep up to date with new products, recipes and preparation techniques.
• Maintain hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils.
• Consult daily with Sous and Head Chef about daily requirements and any last‑minute events.
• Collect and report daily feedback and issues as they arise.
• Assess quality control and adhere to hotel service standard.
• Follow all standard procedures and policies for food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation.
• Follow good preservation standards for proper handling of all food products at the right temperature.
• Ensure effective communication between staff, maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.
• Establish and maintain effective inter‑departmental relationships.
