Job summary

NordicFeel Group AB, one of the Nordic region’s leading beauty e-commerce players, seeks a Category Manager to drive your category with suppliers and brands. You will negotiate, plan campaigns, and steer profitable growth in a fast-moving environment.

Based at NordicFeel Group’s Stockholm headquarters, this fixed-term role offers potential extension. You will work under the Head of Assortment with a team of four managers across skincare, haircare, makeup and fragrance.

Qualifications

  • Relevant university degree in business-related field.
  • At least three years in a similar Category Manager or commercial role.
  • Experience from e-commerce and driving sales/profitability.
  • Strong negotiation track record with suppliers/partners.
  • Solid data analytics and KPI experience.
  • Good understanding of digital marketing and campaigns.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

About the role

This is a fixed-term position with good potential for an extension.


As Category Manager at NordicFeel Group, you will have broad commercial responsibility for developing and driving your category, with a clear focus on profitable growth. You will be responsible for the assortment and work closely with suppliers and brands to develop the business through negotiations, campaigns, launches and marketing investments.


You will identify the key drivers within your category, spot new business opportunities and turn them into concrete initiatives together with suppliers and internal teams.


You will be part of the commercial team and report to the Head of Assortment. The category team currently consists of four Category Managers responsible for areas including skincare, haircare, makeup and fragrance.


Your main responsibilities will include:



  • Drive and develop your category with a focus on sales, profitability and growth

  • Own the category assortment and continuously develop the offering based on commercial and customer potential

  • Build and develop long-term relationships with suppliers and brands

  • Lead supplier negotiations regarding commercial terms, pricing and marketing investments

  • Identify and sell marketing and activation opportunities to suppliers

  • Plan campaigns, product launches and other sales-driving activities

  • Analyse sales, margins, assortment and category performance to identify new business opportunities

  • Monitor the market, customer behaviour and relevant trends to continuously develop the category

  • Collaborate closely with purchasing, pricing, sales and other parts of the organisation


Your background

We are looking for someone with a strong commercial mindset who thrives in a role with a high degree of ownership. You have a solid understanding of the e-commerce business, are confident in negotiations and have experience developing commercial relationships with external partners.


You are analytical and comfortable using data to support decisions, while also being a strong communicator and relationship builder. To thrive at NordicFeel, we also believe you are self-driven, curious and collaborative, and enjoy a fast-paced environment where initiative and new ideas are encouraged.


We would like you to have:



  • A relevant university degree, preferably in Business Management, Business Administration or a related field

  • At least three years of experience in a similar position, such as Category Manager, Key Account Manager or an equivalent commercial role

  • Experience from e-commerce is required, together with a strong understanding of the e-commerce business and the drivers of sales and profitability

  • Experience independently leading negotiations with suppliers or partners

  • Strong business acumen and a clear commercial drive

  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with data and relevant KPIs

  • A good understanding of digital marketing and how campaigns, visibility and activations drive commercial results

  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken


Experience from beauty, fashion, lifestyle or related industries is considered an advantage, as is an interest in beauty and the trends shaping the market. We also value curiosity about AI and how new tools can be used to develop ways of working and drive the business forward.


The position is based at NordicFeel Group’s headquarters in central Stockholm. This is a fixed-term position with good potential for an extension. Start date by agreement.
