Job summary

Saab AB seeks a structured Business Information Security Officer to join Business Area Surveillance, driving the practical implementation of the Security Management System (SMS) and serving as the information security partner within the business.

You will collaborate with business units and security colleagues to embed security into daily operations, enabling secure ways of working while balancing compliance with business objectives.

Qualifications

• University degree and/or relevant experience in information security, IT security, risk management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of information security principles and frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST 800-171, protective security and COMSEC.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to balance security requirements with operational efficiency and business objectives.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

• Integrate the Security Management System (SMS) into business operations and align security with business needs.
• Develop practical solutions for secure information handling and communication.
• Support business units in implementing information security requirements effectively.
• Promote a strong security culture through awareness, engagement, and education.
• Represent business needs within the Information and Cyber Security organization.
• Act as the main point of contact for information security guidance and support.
• Coordinate local information security incident investigations and remediation activities.
• Translate security risks and requirements into clear business-focused recommendations.
