Job summary

Saab AB is seeking an Information Security Specialist to lead the continued development and enforcement of our Security Management System (SMS). You will bridge security strategy and operational execution, working with IT and other functions to ensure compliance and risk mitigation in a complex, international environment.

The role emphasizes governance, control implementation, and improving security processes across the organization, with a focus on delivering robust, business-driven security

Qualifications

• University degree and/or relevant experience in information security, IT security, risk management, or related areas.
• Experience in information security governance, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST 800-171, and/or protective security/COMSEC.
• Strong knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building, ability to explain security risks in Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve the Security Management System (SMS) aligned with ISO/IEC 27001 and organizational goals.
• Translate security requirements into practical guidelines for business and IT teams.
• Oversee implementation of security controls across the organization.
• Improve processes through digital tools and automation.
• Monitor compliance and identify gaps in security controls.
• Coordinate information security risk management activities.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, auditors, and management.
• Act as a trusted security partner across the organization.
