Job summary

A leading waste and recycling company is seeking a Business Controller to manage financial support for OPS. The role requires monitoring performance, leading budgeting, and supporting financial structures. Ideal candidates should hold a relevant degree and have at least 3 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and fluency in Swedish and English. This full-time position is based in Gothenburg with some travel opportunities in Northern Europe.

Qualifications

About the role

As Business Controller, you will play a key role in shaping OPS’s financial support function. You will work closely with our controller in Germany, the operational teams, plant managers, product managers, and OPS management to ensure transparency, accurate cost control and well-functioning reporting as well as robust investment analyses and ad-hoc analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse OPS performance, including results, sales, cost trends, investments, and capital efficiency.
• Lead the budgeting and business planning for OPS.
• Contribute to monthly and annual closing processes.
• Drive and support the development of financial structures and processes within OPS, in collaboration with financial teams in Germany, EasyMining, and the RagnSells Group.
• Provide clear, data-driven financial insights to support decision making across the business.
