Job summary

Altris AB in Uppsala is seeking a one-year temporary Cell Validation Engineer to join the Cell Development team. The role centers on cell-level testing and analysis, bridging early prototype work and scale-up to larger-format cells.

You will conduct in-house electrochemical testing and coordinate external testing, documenting results and reporting insights to drive readiness for customer delivery and scale-up.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with battery focus preferred.
• 4+ years experience with cell validation, designing and executing tests.
• Knowledge of battery cell components (cathode, anode, separator, electrolyte).
• Experience with data handling and deriving conclusions from complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cell testing from planning through reporting.
• Prepare test protocols and DUT setup.
• Execute tests with safety as the top priority.
• Report results and standardize data handling and reporting.
• Collaborate with cell development engineers to interpret results.
