Job summary

Siemens Energy in Finspång, Sweden, seeks a System Engineering Manager to lead the Auxiliary Systems engineering team. You will drive lifecycle housing, upgrades, and maintenance of auxiliary systems while ensuring safe, high-quality engineering solutions for an installed base.

The role requires strong leadership in an industrial setting, deep knowledge of steam turbine auxiliary systems, and collaboration with Mods & Upgrades and Tech Support to deliver integrated service solutions.

Qualifications

• PMP or equivalent leadership certification preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team coordinator role in power generation or turbomachinery.
• Fluency in English; Swedish proficiency highly advantageous for local team integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of auxiliary system engineers, fostering continuous improvement and safety.
• Manage resource allocation, work prioritization, and capacity planning for service projects and customer requests.
• Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and support professional development for team members.
• Oversee the engineering design, modification, and troubleshooting of auxiliary systems for industrial steam turbines.
• Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with international standards, quality guidelines, and safety regulations.
• Review and approve technical documentation, design modifications, and complex service solutions.
