Siemens Energy is seeking a System Engineering Manager for Auxiliary Systems in Finspång, Sweden. You will lead the auxiliary systems engineering team, oversee lifecycle, upgrades, and maintenance to meet service demands, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to deliver safe, compliant engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or systems engineering background, at least 5 years in engineering with 2 years in a leadership role, and fluent English (Swedish helpful).

Qualifications

• PMP or equivalent leadership certification preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' engineering experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or team coordinator role in power generation/turbomachinery.
• Fluency in English; Swedish proficiency advantageous for local integration.

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of auxiliary system engineers, fostering continuous improvement and safety.
• Manage resource allocation, prioritization, and capacity planning for service projects and customer requests.
• Conduct performance reviews and support professional development pathways for team members.
• Oversee design, modification, and troubleshooting of auxiliary systems for industrial steam turbines.
• Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with international standards, quality guidelines, and safety regulations.
• Review and approve technical documentation, design changes, and engineering solutions for complex service cases.
• Collaborate with Mods & Upgrades and Tech Support to deliver integrated service solutions.
• Act as a key technical escalation point for critical customer issues.
