H&M Group seeks an Area Tech Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of People technology across the lifecycle, including Attract, Retain, Develop, Contribution and Rewards. You will drive architectural coherence, modernization, and secure, scalable solutions while managing budgets and cross-area collaboration.

The role requires senior tech leadership experience, strong SaaS knowledge, and a focus on customer and business value. Location in Stockholm or Bangalore is possible.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering technology solutions within People and HR across the people lifecycle.
• Deep expertise in software engineering and architecture principles.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional tech teams and delivering at scale.
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms and modern AI capabilities in business processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of People technology solutions across end-to-end lifecycle (Attract, Retain, Develop, Contribution, Rewards).
• Oversee RUN/Tech Operations and ensure stable, scalable, cost-efficient solutions.
• Drive architectural coherence and modernization across the People tech landscape.
• Collaborate with Area Business Manager to align priorities and roadmaps.
• Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to enable delivery.
