Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Ludvika, Sweden, is looking for an Application Engineer to join the Engineering team for on-load tap-changers. You will contribute to product care, upgrades, and bring creative solutions to diverse challenges in an international environment.

You will collaborate with R&D, marketing, and sales, providing technical support and participating in tests, simulations, and training material preparation.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in electrical engineering, energy systems or similar.
• Sound analytical skills with ability to design and analyze experiments is a plus.
• Experience in the power industry or transformers is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in activities and projects such as type testing and support to R&D projects.
• Provide technical sales support to marketing and sales for demanding applications.
• Cooperate with supply chain, production, marketing & sales and other functions.
• Maintain good cooperation with external partners, customers and suppliers.
• Support marketing and sales with training material for customers.
