Job summary

Telia Finance is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join the Product & Analytics team. You will work with business stakeholders and tech teams to improve data quality, derive actionable insights, and support strategic decisions across Telia.

You will build and maintain data pipelines, design governance practices, and own Qlik Sense dashboards and semantic models to provide trusted insights that drive business impact. Fluency in Swedish and English is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Data Analyst, BI Developer, Analytics Engineer, or similar.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
• Experience with Qlik Sense or other BI/visualization tools.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Experience with data quality and/or data governance.
• Academic background in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or related fields.
• Fluency in Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

• Support the establishment of a lakehouse architecture and medallion framework, including data modelling standards and semantic layer design.
• Develop and maintain data transformation pipelines across bronze, silver, and gold layers to ensure high-quality, trusted data assets.
• Design and implement scalable data quality, testing, and governance practices to ensure reliable data products.
• Drive data validation, lineage, and observability across the Lakehouse environment, onboarding new data sources.
• Own the maintenance and adoption of the Qlik Sense analytics platform, delivering dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
• Partner with Product Owner Data & Analytics and business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into scalable solutions.
• Support the organization’s journey towards becoming data-driven by fostering data literacy and best practices.

In this role, you will work closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams to improve data quality, generate actionable insights, and support strategic decision-making across the organization.

What you’ll do:

As an Analytics Engineer at Telia Finance, you will work with structured and semi-structured data to identify trends, uncover business opportunities, and improve how we use data across the company.

• Support the establishment of a lakehouse architecture and medallion framework, including data modelling standards and semantic layer design.
• Develop and maintain data transformation pipelines across bronze, silver, and gold layers to ensure high-quality, trusted, and reusable data assets.
• Design and implement scalable data quality, testing, and governance practices to ensure reliable, well-documented, and trusted data products.
• Drive data validation, lineage, and observability across the Lakehouse environment, supporting the onboarding of new data sources and the continuous evolution of analytics datasets.
• Own the maintenance, continuous development, and adoption of the Qlik Sense analytics platform, designing and delivering dashboards, reports, and semantic models that provide trusted insights and support data-driven decision-making across the business.
• Partner with Product Owner Data & Analytics and business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into scalable solutions, support data-driven decision-making, and identify opportunities for new insights, use cases, and improvements.
• Support the organization’s journey towards becoming increasingly data-driven by fostering data literacy, promoting best practices, and enabling stakeholders to make better decisions through trusted data and insights.

• Proven experience working as a Data Analyst, BI Developer, Analytics Engineer, or similar.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Experience with Qlik Sense, or other BI and visualization tools.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Experience working with data quality and/or data governance.
• Academic background in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or related fields.
• Fluency in Swedish and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python or similar.
• Experience from agile development teams.

We work with modern analytics and BI environments (SQL, Phyton, Qlik Sense, Datalake platforms). Experience with Qlik Sense is highly valued.
