Job summary

Telia Company is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join Telia Finance’s Product & Analytics team. You’ll transform data into trusted insights, build data pipelines, and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards to enable smarter decisions across the business.

The role combines strong analytical skills with business understanding, offering opportunities to grow within a forward-thinking data-driven environment in Sweden.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Experience with Qlik Sense or other BI/visualization tools.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Experience with data quality and data governance.
• Academic background in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or related fields.
• Fluency in Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

• Establish a lakehouse architecture and medallion framework, including data modelling standards and semantic layer design.
• Develop and maintain data transformation pipelines across bronze, silver, and gold layers.
• Design and implement scalable data quality, testing, and governance practices.
• Drive data validation, lineage, and observability across the Lakehouse environment.
• Own the maintenance and adoption of the Qlik Sense analytics platform, delivering dashboards and semantic models.
• Partner with Product Owner Data & Analytics to translate analytical needs into scalable solutions.
• Foster data literacy and enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.

In this role, you will work closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams to improve data quality, generate actionable insights, and support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Whatyou’lldo:

As an Analytics Engineer at Telia Finance, you will work with structured and semi-structured data toidentifytrends, uncover business opportunities, and improve how we use data across the company.

• Supportthe establishment of alakehousearchitecture and medallion framework, including data modelling standards and semantic layer design.
• Developandmaintaindata transformation pipelines across bronze, silver, and gold layers to ensure high-quality, trusted, and reusable data assets.
• Designand implement scalable data quality, testing, and governance practices to ensure reliable, well-documented, and trusted data products.
• Drivedata validation, lineage, and observability across the Lakehouse environment, supporting the onboarding of new data sources and the continuous evolution of analytics datasets.
• Ownthe maintenance, continuous development, and adoption of the Qlik Sense analytics platform, designing and delivering dashboards, reports, and semantic models that provide trusted insights and support data-driven decision-making across the business.
• Partnerwith Product Owner Data & Analytics and business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into scalable solutions, support data-driven decision-making, andidentifyopportunities for new insights, use cases, and improvements.
• Supportthe organization’s journey towards becoming increasingly data-driven by fostering data literacy, promoting best practices, and enabling stakeholders to make better decisions through trusted data and insights.

• Proven experienceworking as a Data Analyst, BI Developer, Analytics Engineer, or similar.
• StrongSQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Experiencewith Qlik Sense, or other BI and visualization tools.
• Abilityto translate data into actionable business insights.
• Experienceworking with data quality and/or data governance.
• Academic background in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or related fields.
• Fluencyin Swedish and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python or similar.
• Experience from agile development teams.

We work with modern analytics and BI environments (SQL, Phyton, Qlik Sense, Datalake platforms). Experience with Qlik Sense is highly valued.
