Job summary

A leading trading company in the Riyadh Region is seeking a competent Project Coordinator to support project execution through effective coordination, cost control, planning, and client communication. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture, PMP certification, and at least 5 years of experience in Project Management or Project Coordination. Skills in Primavera P6 and cost control are essential. The role involves coordinating with clients, preparing invoices, and analyzing project data to ensure timely approvals and budget adherence.

Qualifications

  • PMP certification is required or highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management or Project Coordination, preferably in engineering or construction environments.
  • Strong experience with cost control tools and techniques, including budgeting and cost variance analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with clients on all financial-related matters, ensuring timely approvals.
  • Perform quantity take-offs for projects to ensure alignment with the approved scope of work.
  • Prepare project progress invoices in accordance with contract terms.
  • Plan and coordinate project schedules with manpower planning and cash flow requirements.
  • Monitor and control project costs, promptly reporting any deviations or risks.
  • Analyze project data and prepare analytical reports to support decision-making.
  • Review project contracts from technical, financial, and legal perspectives.

Job description

We are looking for a competent Project Coordinator to support project execution through effective coordination, cost control, planning, and client communication, ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual, financial, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with clients on all financial-related matters, including preparation, submission, and follow-up of progress payments, MIRs, and WIRs, ensuring timely approvals.
  • Perform quantity take-offs (QS) for projects and reconcile quantities with the technical office, factory, and site to ensure alignment with the approved scope of work.
  • Prepare project progress invoices in accordance with contract terms, approved payment milestones, and the authorized project schedule.
  • Plan and coordinate with Tenders, Human Resources, and Finance Departments to align project schedules with manpower planning, cash flow requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring expenditures remain within the approved budget and promptly reporting any cost deviations or risks.
  • Analyze project data (financial, schedule, and performance data) and prepare analytical reports to support management decision-making.
  • Review project contracts from technical, financial, and legal perspectives, identify potential risks or gaps, and submit observations and recommendations to management.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • PMP certification is required or highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management or Project Coordination, preferably in engineering or construction environments.
  • Proficiency in project planning and scheduling tools, particularly Primavera P6.
  • Strong experience with cost control tools and techniques, including budgeting and cost variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Power BI or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies and their application in project environments.
  • Strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
