As a Plumber, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of all carpentry tasks, including:

· Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair including joints, valves, drains and fixtures in all types of structures

· Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul mechanical systems

· Understanding and following blueprints or building plans

· Ensure proper inventory and storage of plumbing tools, equipment, and materials.

· Respond to emergency repair requests promptly to minimize disruptions.

· Collaborate with other departments to support maintenance and renovation projects.

· Completing plumbing work orders promptly and accurately.

· Performing routine and preventive maintenance as per the scheduled program.

· Consistently delivering high-quality carpentry work.

· Adhering to all safety protocols and wearing personal protective equipment while on duty.

· Accurately completing and submitting work slips (or online system) and request forms (or work log) at the end of each shift.

· Keeping the workspace clean and always organized.

· Upholding InterContinental’s guidelines and service standards, consistently meeting or exceeding performance expectations.

· Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries

Requirements:

· High level of interpersonal skills.

· Proactive, systematic approach to tasks

· Willingness to work flexible in terms of work (other than core work) and hours

· Willingness to tackle a wide range of day-to-day activities from complex to simple tasks

· Operates a personal computer and spreadsheet.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

· Able to handle pressure while maintaining a positive outlook.

· Ability to perform tasks alone or in a team to a high standard without supervision

· Physical fitness, mental fitness and dexterity to handle the work

· Knowledge of different mechanical systems

· Ability to operate and maintain the resort perfectly

· Attention to detail and ability to identify imperfections or defects

· Strong communication skills to work effectively with other team members and supervisors

· Adherence to safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
