A leading global technology company in Jeddah seeks a Business Development Manager to drive demand for Fire Detection products. The role involves engaging with consultants, contractors, and end users, promoting solutions, and building long-term relationships. Candidates should have 5+ years in technical/business development, expertise in Fire Detection systems, and strong communication skills. Fluency in Arabic and good English is required.
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll report to the Global Business Development Leader and work closely with the KSA team. Based in Jeddah, your mission is to create demand for Fire Detection products by engaging with consultants, contractors, developers, and end users from the early specification stage. In this role, you will identify new opportunities and define vertical markets, build long-term relationships with high-profile customers, promote Fire Detection solutions while expanding brand awareness in your territory, deliver technical seminars, presentations, and product demonstrations, and recommend solutions that meet project requirements. This position requires a strong technical background and offers a dynamic environment to leverage your expertise.
Use your technical knowledge to guide consultants and developers on design and specifications.
Collaborate with Sales and Technical Support to ensure proposals meet customer needs.
Develop design, technical, and marketing tools for new and existing products.
Keep accurate records of opportunities, quotes, and projects in company systems.
You’ll thrive if you’re a hunter —driven, independent, and persistent—with excellent planning and time management skills.
Minimum 5 years in technical or business development roles with Fire Detection products.
Hands-on experience in Fire Detection system design.
Strong knowledge of Fire Detection brands.
Excellent presentation, communication, and persuasion skills.
Ability to identify decision-makers and build relationships.
Highly proactive, independent, and collaborative mindset.
Integrity, ethics, and a results-driven attitude.
Creative problem-solver with a “can-do” approach.
Fluent Arabic and good English.
