Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute production plans in accordance with production schedules, ensuring timely and efficient manufacturing operations.
• Oversee the operation of production equipment and machinery, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards and identify deviations or defects, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products, coordinating with procurement and logistics to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization to enhance productivity and reduce production costs.
• Provide training and guidance to production staff, ensuring skills and knowledge are up to date.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and company policies in all production activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues or equipment malfunctions, minimizing downtime and maintaining efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production reports and maintenance logs.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate production processes, implementing best practices to enhance performance.
• Support HSE initiatives and incident reporting aligned with IMS policies.

The Production Officer assists in completing production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.

Job Responsibilities 1

Oversee the operation of production equipment and machinery, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols.

Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards and identify any deviations or defects, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products, coordinating with procurement and logistics teams to ensure adequate stock levels.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and minimize production costs.

Provide training and guidance to production staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and Company policies and procedures in all production activities.

Troubleshoot production issues or equipment malfunctions, implementing solutions to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.

Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production reports, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory records.

Continuously monitor and evaluate production processes, seeking opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance overall production performance.

Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies

Practical understanding of industrial/manufacturing principles, standards, methods and practices

Experience with lean concepts, familiar with manufacturing, safety and quality process concepts, practices, and procedures.

Strong knowledge of organizational workflow and ability to delegate by assigning responsibilities and formulating schedules.

Analytical skills to monitor production output and check for compliance

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
