Lever, Inc. on behalf of a partner company is seeking a Welsh Language Specialist - Freelance AI Trainer Project based in Saudi Arabia. This remote freelance role focuses on evaluating, annotating, and improving AI-generated Welsh content for training and evaluation.

You will assess grammar, style, and cultural nuance, provide actionable feedback, and help refine prompts and guidelines. The position offers fully remote work with compensation between $8 and $65 per hour, contingent on experience

Qualifications

• Fluent or native-level proficiency in Welsh.
• Experience in translation, linguistics, language teaching, editing, proofreading, or content creation.
• Strong understanding of Welsh grammar, syntax, semantics, vocabulary, and cultural context.
• Excellent written communication and ability to explain linguistic decisions.
• Ability to work independently in a remote freelance environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and annotate Welsh-language content used for AI training and evaluation.
• Assess AI-generated Welsh outputs for grammatical accuracy, fluency, meaning, style, and natural language usage.
• Identify linguistic, contextual, and cultural issues and provide actionable feedback.
• Analyze and document recurring error patterns to improve model performance.
• Evaluate whether generated content reflects Welsh linguistic and cultural context.
• Contribute feedback to prompts, evaluation methodologies, and language guidelines.
• Apply consistent annotation and quality standards across tasks.
• Collaborate remotely with project teams and language specialists to resolve ambiguities.
