Job summary

Candidates should have a high school education and at least 6 months experience, plus the ability to communicate effectively, perform basic math, and use basic computer tools. Training in safety and quality processes is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 6 months experience as Operator Assistant-L&P, II.
• Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required in some locations.
• Well Control Accreditation Program may be required (optional).
• Water survival training may be required; good communication with others is essential.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rig-ups and rig-downs surface and down-hole well logging equipment on location to record sub-surface data.
• Operate well logging equipment at job site and assemble down-hole tools.
• Maintain, clean and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Conduct pre- and post-job vehicle and equipment inspections and related paperwork.
• Support safety, environmental and quality improvement initiatives and adhere to HSE regulations.
