You will verify equipment calibration, prepare Weld Maps and WPS, monitor consumables, and review NDE/NDT reports while maintaining records.

Requires Bachelor’s or Diploma in Engineering, CSWIP or CWI certification, and 2–3 years’ production experience with strong QA/QC coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering.
• CSWIP or CWI certification required.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of welding codes/standards.
• Experience reviewing NDE/NDT reports.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Weld Maps and WPS and coordinate PQRs.
• Liaise with clients to obtain WPS approvals and ensure project requirements are met.
• Supervise welding of test coupons in accordance with codes and standards.
• Verify calibration and readiness of welding equipment.
• Monitor the use of welding consumables (electrodes, wire, flux).
• Verify welder qualifications and approval status before project assignment.
• Raise NCRs for welding-related non-conformances identified on the shop floor.
• Review NDE reports before client submission.
• Review welding records and supplier documentation for compliance.
• Maintain accurate welding documentation and production/manpower reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental procedures.
