Our client is a leading maker of Pressure Vessels, Warmth Exchanger, Tank, etc. seeking a Welding Engineer to oversee welding procedures, WPS/PQR certification, and welder qualifications.

The role covers development of welding procedures, calibration of welding equipment, and ensuring adherence to ASME codes in a manufacturing setting in Jeddah, KSA.

Qualifications

• Experience with welding procedures, WPS/PQR development and certification.

Responsibilities

• Prep work and advancement of Welding Procedures.
• Certifying new WPS and PQRs.
• Certifying Welders and welding operators.
• Calibration of welding machines/electrodes and ovens.

Job Summary:

Function and Duties:

• Prep work as well as advancement of Welding Procedures.
• Certifying new WPS and PQRs.
• Certifying Welders as well as welding drivers.
• Calibration of Welding machines/Electrodes and also change baking stove.
• Preparation, Entry as well as authorization of WPS, PQR, Weld Maps and so on.
• Keeping connection of welders.

PRIMARY TASKS.

• In charge of Preparation of WPS, PQR, Repair procedure entry and approval from Customer as well as TPI.
• In charge of development of new Welding procedure.
• In charge of keeping continuity of welders.
• To Make sure that appropriate welding treatments are adhered to.
• To give options to welding relevant troubles like repair etc.
• To prepare weld maps and also concern to purchase welding.
• To make certain that stoves are calibrated.
• To make sure that the electrodes and consumables are properly baked, conserved and issued from the stores.
• To make sure that proper preheating and also right specifications are being followed throughout the welding process.
• To disqualify welders who are producing malfunctioning welds constantly.
• Keep certified welder checklist.
• Accountable for calibration of welding makers.
• In charge of estimation or welding consumables and also giving technological info to shops for increasing the public relations.
• Assessment of inbound Welding consumables providing clearance.
• Bonded surveillance.
• In charge of preparation of Effect examination coupons where required.
• Liable for providing combined welder checklist to production on month-to-month basis.
• Responsible for preserving incoming welding consumable inspection Report.
