Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Minimal work experience (1 year or less) with MIG and TIG welding is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and other technical data accurately.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).

Responsibilities

• Reading blueprints or instructions to determine the welding requirements.
• Setting up equipment and welding tools according to specifications.
• Using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fill gaps between metal parts.
• Inspecting welds and ensuring they meet standards and requirements.
