Job summary

Innovative Systems (ISys) is seeking a senior J2EE/web services architect to technically lead implementations and guide a multi-disciplinary team. You will evaluate technology options, architect designs, and drive technical workshops for prospective customers.

The role requires strong OO design, UML, XML, and security knowledge, with a proven track record in eBusiness projects and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Over 9 years of IT experience with at least 3–4 years in eBusiness.
• Strong J2EE experience and OO design skills.
• Proficiency in UML, XML, Java, and web services.
• Knowledge of RDBMS and web security concepts (SSL, auth, encryption).
• Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Technically manage J2EE web services implementations.
• Evaluate technology and product options from a web services perspective.

Responsibilities

• Technology and product evaluation from a J2EE web services perspective
• Technically manage J2EE web services implementations
• Manage and guide implementation team of developers and designers
• Conduct workshops and client presentations on web services for prospective customers
• Provide technical consultancy to customer on J2EE and web services based technologies implementations

Requirements

• Good experience in working with J2EE compliant application servers, and strong OO design skills.
• Familiarity with UML, XML, Java, J2EE, and web technologies such as web servers, application servers, and web services.
• Knowledge of RDBMS and web security (SSL, authentication, authorization, encryption, certificates, digital signatures) would be desirable.
• Languages: Java
• Database: Oracle, DB2 or any other RDBMS.
• OS: Unix web services, B2B Integration.
• More than 9 years of experience and at least 3-4 years of experience in eBusiness.
• Should possess excellent communication skills, good analytical and problem solving skills, and business building capability.
