Job summary

Abdul Latif Jameel Company in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced warehouse supervisor to oversee Receiving, Binning, Storage, Picking and Dispatch in our PIO warehouses. You will drive productivity by applying Toyota Production System (TPS) and 5S standards while ensuring quality handling of parts and full resource utilization.

The role requires collaboration with Quality, Production, Planning, Inventory and PD, plus daily stock reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business or equivalent (high school may be acceptable).
• 3 years minimum experience, with at least 2 years in Warehouse Operations.
• English and Arabic language skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily warehouse operations: Receiving, Binning, Storage, Picking & Dispatch.
• Implement TPS in main Warehouse operations to improve productivity.
• Coordinate with Quality, Production, Planning, Inventory and PD for stock documentation and reconciliation.
• Manage daily 5S / PPO audits and update stock reports daily and monthly.
• Develop succession plans and training programs for team members to build multi-skilled staff.
• Prepare annual leave plans for staff to avoid conflicts with operations.
• Monitor sections, set targets and control operation costs per company policy.

Purpose of the Job

Proper supervision of warehouse operations (Receiving, Binning, Storage, Picking & Dispatch) to improve productivity by ensuring that the right parts are handled at right time with right quality by fully utilization of available warehouse resources at PIO warehouses as per company policies.

Major Activities

1- Manage the implementation of Toyota Production System (TPS) in the main Warehouse operation to ensure that parts are stored and piled up are in accordance with the targeted level by adhering to the process and procedures thereby improving business productivity

2- Ensuring that the right parts are handled at right time with right quality with fully utilization of available warehouse resources at PIO Sub warehouse as per company policies

3- Coordinate with the various departments (Quality, production, Planning, Inventory and PD) in the submission of parts, documentation like PIO order slip, parts discrepancy reports to related departments to reconcile information regarding receiving and issuing of stocks

4- Manage the Implementation on Daily basis 5S /PPO Audit / IMTITHAL, update & Display Reports Update Stock Reports on Daily & Monthly basis.

5- Develop succession plan and training programs for team members for context menu

6- Prepare annual leave plan for Staff reporting to him, to avoid conflicts between vacations and not affect the daily operation

7- Manage the knowledge transfer to staff and implement the succession plans to improve staff satisfaction and productivity and develop them to become multi-skilled workers.

8- Monitor the sections and set the new targets for each section and institute control of the operation cost as per approved company policies and procedures
