Job summary

Soundlines Consultancy is seeking an experienced Airport Operations Specialist in Saudi Arabia to monitor flight timings, prepare airline reports, and coordinate with multiple departments for smooth operations. You will manage load sheets, NOTOC, and weight/balance compliance while ensuring safety and procedure adherence.

The role requires strong mathematical and analytical skills, English communication abilities, and a valid Load Control certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in airline/aviation/ground-handling.
• Experience in OCC, Load Control, Flight Coordination or Airport Operations preferred.
• Valid Load Control Certification is required.
• Valid Drivers License; airside driving permit is a plus.
• Strong understanding of aircraft loading, weight & balance, and flight ops procedures.
• Good mathematical and analytical skills with accuracy.
• Good English verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor flight timings (ATA/ATD) and communicate updates to relevant departments.
• Prepare and process flight-related messages and airline reports (MVT, LDM, CPM, UCM, SCM).
• Coordinate with airline crew, OCC, Load Control, Ramp Ops, Cargo, Passenger Services, and other departments.
• Prepare and submit Load Sheets, Loading Instructions and NOTOC respecting weight & balance requirements.
• Ensure safe weight and balance, monitor aircraft loading/unloading.
• Coordinate with Ramp Loading Teams, Cargo, Fueling, Catering, Passenger Bus Services and third-party providers.
• Direct aircraft turnaround activities including loading, fueling, servicing, cleaning, catering, boarding.
• Conduct pre-flight briefings and coordinate with Ramp, BRS, Cabin Cleaning teams.
• Maintain flight documents and operational records; report issues to management.
• Liaise with Manager on Duty and airline reps regarding operational requirements and disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, SOP, and operational procedures.
• Support OTP and punctual departures by coordinating all activities.
• Report damages or safety deviations to supervisor.
• Ensure baggage reconciliation procedures and required documentation are completed prior to departure.

• Prepare and process flight-related operational messages and documentation, including MVT, LDM, CPM, UCM, SCM and other airline-specific reports.
• Coordinate with airline crew, OCC, Load Control, Ramp Operations, Cargo, Passenger Services and other departments to ensure smooth flight operations.
• Prepare and submit Load Sheets, Loading Instructions and NOTOC, ensuring compliance with airline procedures and weight & balance requirements.
• Monitor aircraft loading and unloading activities and ensure compliance with safe weight and centre-of-gravity limits.
• Coordinate with Ramp Loading Teams, Cargo, Fueling, Catering, Passenger Bus Services and other third-party service providers.
• Coordinate and direct aircraft turnaround activities including loading, fueling, servicing, cleaning, catering, boarding and other ground handling activities.
• Conduct pre-flight briefings and coordinate with Ramp, BRS and Cabin Cleaning teams to ensure smooth turnaround operations.
• Maintain accurate flight documentation, operational records, communication records and required airline reports.
• Liaise with Manager on Duty, Ramp Duty Officer, airline representatives and crew regarding operational requirements and disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with airline, airport authority and company safety, security, SOP and operational procedures.
• Support On-Time Performance (OTP) and ensure punctual flight departures by coordinating all assigned operational activities.
• Report operational issues, aircraft/ULD damages and safety deviations to the concerned manager or supervisor.
• Ensure baggage reconciliation procedures and all required documentation are completed prior to aircraft departure.

Preferred candidate profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the airline, aviation, airport or ground-handling industry.
• Experience in OCC, Load Control, Flight Coordination or Airport Operations will be preferred.
• Valid Load Control Certification is required.
• Valid Drivers License is required; airside driving permit will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of aircraft loading, weight & balance and flight operational procedures.
• Good mathematical and analytical skills with strong attention to accuracy.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with airline crew, ramp teams, cargo, passenger services and other operational departments.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced airport environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts, including operational requirements based on flight schedules.
• Strong knowledge of aviation safety, security and operational procedures.
• Arabic language skills will be an added advantage.
