Job summary

Saudi Railway Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee team leaders, ensure targets and business plans are delivered, and maintain adherence to policies and procedures across maintenance activities.

You will liaise with production and maintenance staff, provide technical support, review maintenance requirements, and ensure timely availability of parts and documentation. A technical diploma and a minimum of 7 years' relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Technical Diploma or equivalent degree required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the activities and work of the team leaders to achieve targets and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Manage the team’s performance including discipline, attendance, and quality.
• Prepare Team Plans and evaluate staff yearly.
• Supervise maintenance to ensure safe and efficient procedures and optimal maintenance outcomes.
• Liaise daily with Production and maintenance staff to identify and rectify issues promptly.
• Interface between support functions (warehouse, engineering, quality) and subcontractors.
• Ensure maintenance work follows Quality procedures and meets key metrics.
• Provide technical support and decision making on production issues related to machines, materials, or assets.
• Ensure maintenance documentation is completed correctly including logs with fault, repair method, time, labor, and materials.

Job description

• Supervise the activities and work of the team leaders to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved, and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems. (targets, objectives)
• Manage the team’s performance: discipline, attendance, training, quality
• Prepare Team Plans and evaluate staff yearly.
• Supervise the Maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient application of procedures and implementation of optimal maintenance.
• Liaise daily with Production and maintenance staff, to ensure that potential issues are identified, and plans created to rectify the issues in an appropriate and timely manner.
• Interface between the support function (warehouse , engineering , quality ) and subcontractor
• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out according to Quality procedures, ensuring critical metrics are met or exceeded.
• make sure report, checklist are well updated and compliant with the quality process
• Provide technical support and decision making if there are any production issues, with machine, materials, or the asset being maintained
• Ensure that all maintenance documentation are completed correctly including the Maintenance Log, outlining the fault, method of repair and the time, labor and materials used to support timely availability of information.
• Review Maintenance requirements (official documents: VMI,MPT.. )and develop internal documents specific to the section needs ( handover form ...)
• Review the monthly / annual requirements for machinery, spare parts and general materials for the unit to support timely availability of requirements as per maintenance plans and budget constraints
• Provide technical details for the Purchase request ( tools , service : description … ) andassist to the good recipe
• to be available to work or respond to work-related calls where urgent situations may arise that require immediate attention and provide guidance
